On a personal note . . .
Originally from Manchester, New Hampshire, Sandy now resides in the quaint town of Weaverville, a lovely bedroom community of Asheville. Together with her husband Gary, retired from NH State Police and yellow Lab, Summer, two Cockatiel birds: Tuco & Jughead, and daughter Stacy makes up the managerie of their household. 
Sandy has always jokingly referred to her pets as “Our good children” (vs. our biological children), anyone out there with tweens, teens or twentysomethings will relate . . .
Daughter Stacy is a Culinary graduate from the prestigious New England Culinary Institute in Vermont. With experience from two very well know resorts here in the Asheville area, the Grove Park Inn and Biltmore Estate, she is now readying herself in opening her own specialty cake and cupcake business – www.InventiveIcings.com. YUMMY . . . Son Robert is currently and proudly serving our country in the U.S. Army, stationed in Iraq. Husband Gary retired with 20 years service from the New Hampshire State Police and is currently employed by the Grove Park Inn.
